BCAUSEICAN December 2022 Volunteer Spotlight

BCAUSEICAN would like to spotlight our High School Intern Duke Boateng. Duke is currently a 10th grade student at Charles Herbert Flowers High School. Duke participated in the BCAUSEICANCODE Cloud Computing Class in July conducted by BCAUSEICAN. He caught on quickly and became one of the many students that completed all the projects and lab assignments. He showed such an interest in additional training, BCAUSEICAN offered him an internship this Fall. He is serving the role as a Cloud Computer Administrator Assistant and is beginning to study the AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification.

Here’s Duke’s thoughts about the Cloud Computing Class:

“When signing up for the cloud computing class, I wasn’t really sure if it would be beneficial to me but I had a very interesting first day of class, so it grew my interest in cloud computing. I want to tell my instructors that they really did a good job. I'm glad I decided to work with BCAUSEICAN. Thank you for making cloud computing easy and fun to learn”. -Duke Boateng
