BCAUSEICAN INTELLIGENCE
Service Description
BCAUSEICAN INTELLIGENCE, the organization’s newest program, delivers bilingual, community-based AI and data science education that introduces K–12 students to machine learning, ethical AI, natural language processing, and neural networks through project-based learning. Designed with collaborative input from the University of Maryland, Morgan State University, and the Institute for Trustworthy AI in Law and Society (TRAILS), INTELLIGENCE also includes an intergenerational component where adults and seniors learn alongside and from youth.

Participants create AI models, develop chatbots, and explore how data can address real issues in their schools and neighborhoods. The community explores AI tools, learns to recognize AI products, and understands their biases, limitations, and ethical uses. The curriculum’s bilingual approach ensures inclusivity for families for whom English is a second language, fostering intergenerational connection and community impact.
